Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. You can play and talk to the coach straight away. Create an account (Account → Create account) to keep your games on every device.

The coach isn't answering.

Check your internet connection. The first time the coach answers, you may be asked for one tap to show you're a person, not a bot. If it still doesn't answer, try again in a minute or write to us.

Can I speak my questions?

Yes. Tap the mic in the coach's message box and allow the microphone. Your device turns your words into text; you can check the text before you send it.

Can I use my own AI?

Yes, in Settings → Coach. We advise a separate key made just for chessAI, with a spending limit.

The coach said something wrong.

The coach is written by an AI and can sometimes be wrong. Tap "Report" under the reply and we'll review it.

Delete your account

In the app: Account → Delete account. Everything is deleted right away. See also how to delete your account.
