When you add an API key, we check it with your AI company, then keep it encrypted on our server with your account, so it works on every device you sign in on. We use it only to get your coach's answers and never show it again (just its last four characters). Remove it here and it is deleted at once; deleting your account deletes it too.
Your AI company bills you directly. Use a key made just for chessAI, with a monthly spending limit, and delete it on the company's site to stop it everywhere.
To write its notes and answers, the coach's AI gets your moves and messages. Your games and the coach's notes are kept on our server; without an account, for 30 days after you last play. No ads, no tracking.
